battery issues

hi you all...
the battery of meladys 2004 mini s doesn't keep a charge.
i ran diagnostics and got an error at the general module and
the light module. did anyone have that problem before.

No problems with the battery here. But yours, should still be under warranty from Mini

6th? wow the manufacturer warranty ust ran out? is the battery any different?

I am pretty sure if your warranty just ran out, ie: a couple of months, a call to BMW NA would help you in getting a courtesy extension if your battery is dead after only 4 yrs. I barely use my car, I have about 20K miles and mine holds a charge fine.

MINI's are known to have a weak battery. IF you can afford it get a new aftermarket top quality battery.

lol my battery died about a week or 2 ago, 04S (09/03 build) and definitely out of warranty. Lucky I was at Sears when it happened (horn wouldn't even blow). 5 yrs basically from a OEM battery is pretty good imho; 7 yr warranty DieHard, works just fine.
