Well as many know from last fall-winter, the shirts i had printed were a pretty good success i feel. I had some issues with organization (my fault), logo usage, and delivery schedule (technical issues), but i felt that the overall feedback was good!

So, i was wondering if people would be interested in another go at this? Ive got some new ideas on how to go about doing this that will make things better for everyone!

For those new owners, or new members to the boards, here is the design from last year, the shirts were offered in black and white.

I think there were close to 100 shirts ordered in total, and there was interest months afterwards as well, so i thought id give it a shot again and do my part for the community!

I want to give this year (and years after...) a little spin though. Instead of using previous designs, i would like you...yes YOU...to make the logos. Now i know some people dont have access to creative programs like photoshop or even photo editing software for their cameras, but ive got an idea for that as well.

Since i think this year will be a bit bigger than previous, id like some volunteers with photoshopping/editing/creative skills to help with ideas. So, once i have those people, anyone can send them ideas/pictures/files with a request to get their designs created.

Im going to set a date for logo submission. i will then create a poll on the boards and we shall vote for 2 logos to be on the shirt. So this will be a majority vote system. We can then decide on shirt/ink colors as well.

After the shirt design is finalized we will move onto orders. Im thinking the price is going to be the same this year, somewhere between $18 and $20 per shirt. This price WILL include delivery just like last year. I trust everyone was satisfied with the packaging and condition the shirts were received?

This year I am going to handle the orders differently. Last time i asked people for their shirt order and delivery and all that, then a month or so later asked for payment. This time I am going to ask that everyone send everything all at once. Just as last year, ill accept PayPal, check, money order, or cash. This will help me keep everything a lot more organized and get the shirts ordered quicker.

So let me know if you guys think this is a good idea and want some new t-shirts for christmas!!!! Start brainstorming about logos and gathering pictures and files you think are good for the shirt!

Some design suggestions: Keep them relatively simple, sometimes its hard to capture detail on t-shirt! We are going to be using screen printing, so its basically the best, but also try to keep in mind the ink will be one color, so basically anything that will look good in two tone.

Anyone with some good editing software that is willing to help, please shoot me a PM or email. Im not asking you to devote your life to this, but i really need the :help!!!

cheers,

-Jeff

Jeff, I don't have the photoshop skills but, how about instead of the shark on the back there's the nose of a sixer? Keep the outer border and all, just switch the critters....oh! and how about a run with cigarette pockets? :) ya know how I am...oh and if you want I'll grab a couple in long sleeve too! How's things "down under"? and I do mean Australia! hahahah Joe C

@ joe-

I know they do long sleeves, ill see if they have any pocket shirts! I was thinking the same thing, definitely want to put the car in on the shirt this year, we shall see what i can come up with on jackies computer when ive got some time to mess around with stuff. Ive also got some other neat ideas in store...

@ ken-

that would be great!!! my plan is to have people send you (and hopefully many others willing to help) their ideas with files and pictures they want combined or edited. it was brought to my attention that the higher quality the files the better (ie 300dpi kinda stuff). Also, if there are going to be 2 colors involved in the image, that each color be separated into different layers for the print screens. The people im working with use photoshop, and prefer the files to be in .psd format...

cheers,

-Jeff

I'll take two more of the original Jeff. I am always wearing mine to meets and reping the shark.

lol... I've been repping in KC... I'm like the ONLY BMW owner who attends the meets with a Shark

I'd like to get in on a shirt or two myself..

As for design ideas.. how about something that would wrap around from back to front... like a morph of the car on the back to a shark on the front?

I really like the outline of the shark in that first image and think that could be made a little larger... or put it on the sleeves of a long sleeve shirt.

I'll want a few as well, they'll go with my E-21 Legion shirts, and my shark will run someday soon....
