So, when i'm just having some fun(rarely) when I'm up front of a red light, and it hits green, I just floor it. First gear, iono how to describe it, but when I'm pushing the pedal maybe 3/4 or 1/2 way, it flies. It feels like theres an "empty" area of no power when it's reaching 5k rpm, but it only lasts around a milli second. Really bothers me.

I dont know if I described it well enough, hope I did.

Whats wrong?

Stock S52 intake manifold starts dropping power above 5K, that's why guys install the S50 manifold which "flows" better on the top-end.

is the S50 difficult to install? and how much would it be?

Not really difficult, one of the "best bang for your buck" on an S52. Here's a good link: http://www.m50manifold.com/

Did a quick search for M50 manifold DIY and found this: http://www.team-bar.com/diy_m50manifold.htm another member used it...

It takes anywhere from 2-4 hours and $300 to $400. If you a good garage and are organized, it could take less. Don't forget, an oil change will be about $70 each. The Guibo in the driveline (if not replaced) will be about $400, unless you do it yourself.
