I am about to buy a 2004 MCS / 51,000 miles. The seller said that since he bought it from the dealer at 30,000 miles (the dealer told him) , the next major service should be at 60,000. Is this BS?
Thanks

The MINI doesn't have scheduled mileage service, it has a display on the speedo of when the next service should be done. This is displayed in the same area as the mileage. It only shows up for a short period of time after you start up the car.

Thanks everyone! I watched the Italian Job last night and will pick up the MCS later today. I'm really glad to have found such a great source for advice!
