S14 race wheel fitment

can an 8.5" wide wheel with a 245 tire fit in the unmodified front well/fender of a lowered E30 M3? Racing application with custom wheel so slight rubbing and offsets are not an issue. Modifying the well or fender is not an option though.

I run 245/45-16's on my car on 16x8 et 20 wheels. The fronts rub the fender liner at less than full steering lock. The rears required the fender lips to be rolled, which was done professionally and looks perfect.
