I need to figure out where this plugs in...

I picked up a complete alarm from the salvage yard but can't figure out where this plug goes, and what color wires the other plug has..

Also picked up a new remote from Keyless ride like a few people here have.. I think I need that plugged in before I can program the new remote.

Any help is greatly appreciated.. I'd love to get this thing working tonight.

Hey man, I pulled an OEM alarm out of one of my parts cars, I'll go peek at it tomorrow if you PM me to remind me, I'm sure I'll be able to figure out what it's supposed to go to.

What year E34 did you pull the alarm outa? And will an alarm out of a 90 E32 work with my 90 535i? I read the E34 is wired for the alarm but its the old infrared system which "sucks" but that's relative I just want a factory alarm!

AFAIK it goes NOWHERE.

Thats kinda what I was thinking but I couldn't get the light to come on while programing my new remote.. :(

I'm going to mess with it real quick before I head to work.

I fiddled with it for a while and got it going. I guess you don't have to plug that in.. Maybe its for a siren instead of just using your horn.

I'd like to have the chirp that the E36's have, but Im thrilled to have keyless at all.

From your picture you are missing the siren for the alarm. The siren also chirp when you activate the alarm.
