im getting into auto-x and i would like to know where i could get some fairly cheap slicks for my 2001 330ci?

you don't want slicks, you want r-compounds. by "getting into auto-x" do you mean about to start, or you reaching a more advanced level?

what class are you in, what wheels are they going on.... to vauge of a question

Just buy some good street tires, believe me thats all you need if you are just starting, heck I run A/S tires.
