Just curious to see if anyone has tried this kit at Bavauto. If you have, how well did it work? Was it worth the $100?

Here is the description:

Clean your engine on the inside! Over time, your engine develops residue on the piston rings, gunk on the tips of the fuel injectors and deposits on the back of the valves. (We've seen lots of "dealer maintained" engines that were loaded with nasty build-up.) The result of all this is a gradual reduction in power, response and economy. Our engine renewal kit removes the build-up and allows your engine to perform at its best. The kit includes one container of Lubro Moly Motor Clean, one container of Lubro Moly Motor Protect, a 6-pack of Lubro Moly Jectron and a 6-pack of Lubro Moly Ventil Sauber. Using it doesn't involve anything more complicated than an oil change. Just add the Motor Clean to your engine oil, run the engine for 10 minutes then drain the oil (and the sludge!). Mix the Motor Protect with the fresh engine oil to reduce wear, improve fuel economy and lower exhaust pollutants. Then add one can of Jectron to your fuel tank the next time you fill up. The following fill-up, add a can of Ventil Sauber. Then alternate bewteen the two on a monthly basis, adding one can of Jectron in the second month, a can of Verntil sauber in the third month, etc. We recommend this as an annual program for any engine with 60,000 or more miles on it. Plus it's a great way to bring that just-purchased BMW or MINI back to baseline. If purchased separately, the items in this kit would cost $102.

Thanks.

Who knows, I know seaform works great on higher mileage engines. Im running close to 150k miles and was hoping to find out of anyone has actually had success with this kit or any of the individual products.

I remember those prolong commercials on tv when they would pour sand on the motor and spray it with a fire hose etc and it kept going! That was the shit. I put that stuff in my motor and KABLAM! hyperdrive!

I don't think so. It is widely available. Maybe I was just the loser watching infomercials instead of cartoons.

I have never used that kit, but the Lubro Moly products are great! I have many different products from them that we use in our shop, mainly diesel additives for older Benzs'. Never had a problem, dosen't sound like they could cause much damage when used unless the gunk is keeping your car's engine together. I would say run it for maby 10 miles before changing the oil, I would imagine higher engine speeds will result in higher pressure and better circulation then just sitting at idle for 10 minutes. Hopefully someone who has used it...correctly... and over the year long period will report on this.

I just bought some jectron, ventil sauber, engine flush, etc. and I am using it on an E36 and my E46----so far very good results--better mileage--little better idle and performance---it's probably the best out there-!!
