hi,

I tried to run my car without the o2 sensor to see if the cat was bad (YES, I have the hesitation problem)... I was suspecting my cat to be bad...

i started my car without o2 sensor and no check engine light came on? why?

if I do the pedal trick, the check engine give a code i don't know 1 long.. 1 short 1 long 1 short... not in the database... it's an other problem but the light bulb is working...

I'm confuse, I think I will buy a Peake scanner.

thanks for your comments
Pat

I swear 93 are just f'ed when it comes to trying to read codes. Mine runs just fine but can't even get it to give me the "all's good" code That and i can't get it to go to the dig tack on the od eather just think this was a bad year for this kind of thing

The ECU isn't reading the O2 sensor until the motor is completely warmed up. The 413 ECU is running closed loop when cold.

thesixerkid,

That's why then... Also... my car run really better closed loop...

I hope the peake scanner will tell me what's wrong!

Thanks

With the O2 sensor disconnected and at normal temperature... I have code 1215 which is MASS AIR FLOW...

I also had this code 1215 MASS AIR FLOW when I disconnected my intake air temperature sensor...

My car is fucked up... maybe it's only the ECU...

or I should check the MAF...? getting crazy with my hesitation

start with looking for oil in the plug wells and troubleshooting the ignition coils?

no oil in plug
o2 sensor was changed last year
new fuel filter
new air filter
new coil / boot on all 6
new spark plugs (oem)
new rebuilt Vanos (not the solenoid) was working with voltage
new coolant temperature sensor....
