What's up with GY Eagle F1 A/S?

Hello BMW Experts!

The GY F1a/s has been tested by TR twice against the Bridgestone RE960a/s, among others.
In the 1st test (9/07) the F1a/s beat most all the others in most all performance categories. F1a/s a close 2nd. RE960a/s 4th.
In the 2nd test (5/08) the F1a/s was beaten by most others in most all categories. F1a/s last. RE960a/s 1st.

Any ideas? Did GY move production?

It could be temperature related. I really don't know. I would say that I have driven them and they are a very good handling all season tire. I di like the all around characteristics of the RE960. If I can help let me know.
