Question: My sisters Boyfriend is getting new springs for his '99 m3 sedan, and is asking if he can put his springs originally on his m3 on my sisters stock '98 328i sedan??

Yup I believe so. Thing is, I think they would make the 328i lower.

I'd wait for someoen else to confirm me, but I'm pretty positive.

No. The diameter of M3 springs is different. You need M3 struts and strut hats.

You need the full setup and yes it would also lower the car

you can put the springs in the rear no problem, for the front you need new m3 struts, mounts, and adjustable end links.

Why adjustable end links? He could run his factory 328 end links if he wants can't he? He will just have the tab on the strut for the m3 end links, he can choose to use it then if he wants. Please correct me if I'm wrong...

You could use the standard links. You just get more stiffness out of the swaybar by using the M3 endlinks.

well you want the sway bar to be parallel with the ground (obviously) and you dont want the links to be at to much of an angle so when your cornering they wont bend down anymore than they have to. if the sway bar isnt set at the right angle its not going to do a whole lot...so i would think/heard
