e46 m3 lip yes, but the e36 never came with that.

Make sure you don't get the short one. I think the e39 one is the right size. Mine is short and I still loves it.

Even if that really is the cost..it was probably priced at his employee discount and even then some say you should trim it so it doesn't overhang. Then you have to paint it. Body parts aren't cheap any way you slice it. :(
