Dr vanos stage 1 impressions

installed the vanos yesterday took 4 hours to do it. the directions were excellent. after install started the car up, ran rough for a few minutes, it didn't want to rev at, would hesitate at 1000 rpm. after a little driving with it the hesitation went away, but didn't seem any faster. then after I let the car sit and did some stuff then drove to work, I felt the car had more low end torque. I like having that torque again, and the power band is much smoother than before. overall it works and I am happy with it.

Is the vanos quiter or completely quiet without the rattling i am looking into getting drvanos give me feedback please

I have 103K on the car. I still have a sound coming from the motor, I guess changing the vanos didn't fix it, but I should double check that.

It should run perfectly at first once it gets oil pressure. I would re-check your install.

I did stg 2 and its da bomb. I can feel the cam advance underload conditions. Its super smooth.

whats the usual mileage that vanos goes tits up? my car has 114k and mines working great still.

drove the car today and noticed a jingling sound coming from the motor, not the vanos rattle. not sure what it is

Lol jingling......... Better get under there soon or your gonna jingle all the way!
