<hr style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102); background-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> Hi all,

I recently traded in a set of 18" SCHMIDT rims as shown in the pics below which require a refurbishment.
They are already sandblasted and ready for powder coating and I have to decide on the colour.
Mine do not have chromed centres though and now I have a hard time to decide on the colour. The lips are stainless steel (2.75" and 4.25" deep) and have a slightly darker shine than alloy.
These are the options I'm considering:

silver with chromed screws
matte black with chromed screws
glossy black with chromed screws
matte black with TiNi plated (gold coloured) screws
glossy black with TiNi plated (gold coloured) screws
something totally different from the above

Thanks for your help upfront. :thanks:

how about titanium (and I dont mean the dark bronze that passes for it on most wheels).

thanks for your input guys.
The problem is, that these are very high end rims and I want them to be powder coated.
The upside of powder coating is the durability - downside is the limited choice of colours.
I'm looking since ages for something like nogaro silver in powder, but no luck so far.
So I decided to have them done in matte black and the choice of bolts is up to the new owner.

decision made - and screws can easily be replaced with chromed ones.

Brand new they were over Euro 3.000 (~US$4.800,-) but they are not available with the stepped lip AFAIK.
I'd sell them for US$2.700,- obo
