View Full Version : Anybody know of a break-in period for the Mini Cooper

We just got my daughter a 2008 Mini, and today I introduced her to the wonders of sport mode and electronic manual. But it made me wonder if there was an accepted break-in period for a certain RPM and a certain amount of miles with the Mini.

Look in the owner's manual that came with the car. :banghead:

Your Motoring Advisor should also have discussed break-in with you at the time of delivery, as it has direct implications for your warranty if you should exceed the RPM limits during the break-in period.
