locking my e36

well im thinking from the previous owner it had an alarm....cause theres a siren...now it dosnt when i bought it....

ok so when i push down on the lock it goes down and the rest of them go down then comes back up...it dose it everytime...to lock my car i have to hold the driver side lock down and lock each door individualy...is there a certian way? were i can just push it down once and all will lock?

put the key in the door and turn the key. its built in anti-lock-ur-keys-in-the-car protection

ive done that too...it still happens

try a different door or the trunk w/ the key (locking it). you may have a bad microswitch in the drivers door...

Faulty door lock microswitch.
Common among 92-95 E36s.
