E36 M - Bleed Screw..pops up.

The coolant bleed screw pops backup when tightened. I'm afraid this will happen whilee driving. is there anything I can do to remedy this? would plumbers tape work to help the threads bind?

Depends if you stripped the screw or the threads in the tank. You should be able to tell by looking at it. If not, trying a new screw first is the cheeper option.
