So I'm at 49,300 on the odo, and haven't hit 2 years yet. I have a trip to make next week so I'll hit 50K over the next 10 days.

2007 328xit, sport pkg.

I'm not going to be putting 25k/year on it any more, but I'm sure I'll be doing 10-15K, and I intend to keep it as long as is practical.

I'm talking to the dealer next week. The dealer's always been square with me, but I'd like to collect any information that's out there, so I won't be completely dependent on what they tell me.

Does anybody have an estimate for Inspection 2, which I haven't had and guess I'm not going to get before 50K? How about a routine brake job?

I'm just feeling awfully short on information, so anything I can learn will be helpful.

Well, I just bought mine last week and they tried to sell me the coverage beyond the 50K pretty hard. So, here is what they had quoted me on the following: $350 for the inspections, $600 for front brake job, $700 for rear brake job, and about $120 for oil changes etc, the extended coverage would have saved me roughly about $300 bucks with his original quote, but then he kept discounting it in $500 increments.

I ended up paying $1069 until 100K but that does not include tire hazard warranty which I did not purchase. I used to drive a Volvo so it seemed like an OK deal as Volvo protection to 80K was $1500.

They also tried to sell me credit life insurance, ID theft protection, etc. I could not help but laugh, so the F&I guy started cracking up too.
