Drop Top Question

I have a 2008 335I cv and my question is should the rear seating area, near the top of the side panels, have plugs in the holes for the wind screen option? I've seen some pictures of a 2007 model on a car and driver magazine issue that shows plugs in the four wind screen holes, yet when I asked my rep she checked with parts and they said no. Any one know better about this?

I have never seen them. I just installed one the other day on a brand new car and there was no plugs there.

My 2008 328 cv doesn't have any plugs in the holes.

Thanks, the only reason I asked is that it just looks so unfinished, very un-BMW. Check out the car and driver online 2007 review and you'll see the plugs.

You're right. I looked up the review and if you pop up the photos the second-to-last shows the holes plugged while the last shows the holes without a plug.

Looks like a plastic piece that covers the connection point.

Perhaps car and driver or BMW corportate may be able to provide more info?

If you find anything out please send me a PM, I wouldn't mind plugging those holes either.
