View Full Version : Are xenon headlights standard on 08 coupe?
The dealer that placed an order in for my friend said that the xenon headlights are standard on her order (08 328 coupe). As you may know, this is 1 feature(option) that a lot of people actually do care about and since the dealer can't put it in once it's done after the factory, we want to make sure.
Thanks.

The xenons are standard on all coupes.
Look here for the spec list for a 328i coupe that verifies this:

On the sedans though it is an option for the 328 and standard for 335.
Thanks for the link.
I was looking at that as well, but I couldn't tell if the list was for 09 or 08 (since website may be display upcoming models).
As long as it's standard on 08, life is good!
Thanks.

I can't speak to 2009 but xenon is standard on 2007 and 2008 coupes. I don't see any reason they'd go backwards for 2009. Your friends 2008 will definitely have them though.

Yes, they are. For me, anyway, they take a little getting used to. I don't think they illuminate any more, but they do look different.

After having the Xenons I can't imagine owning a BMW without them.

Yeah, same here. This is my first car with xenons, and the abrupt cutoff took some getting used to. I was used to the slow fade of the halogens.
