Clean, understated, practical, elegant, fast. A fine example of an E36.
Couple questions:
- Are you going to install some truly lightweight wheels? That is to say something in the 16-18lb range, as I recall BMW OEM wheels (even lightweights) are not particularly light.
- What are the maintenance intervals with a supercharger (oil change, spark plugs, et cetera)? I imagine it is wise to compress the maintenance schedule a little in the face of high compression.
- What sorts of bushings did you go with? I would think the RTABs and rear suspension in general is going to be torquing a lot harder. M3 flex disc, Poly diff/rear subframe bushings?

the LTW Foged wheels are light, less than 15 lbs, they are on the car now:)
the oil change for the sc is every 20 K , its a self contained system as far as the oil -- see AA website.
5 k on the spark plugs and to keep a good spark at high RPM's, I also installed Plasma coils.
I replaced all the bushings with Poly --I also welded in a reinforcement kit for the subframe mounting and put on a AA DSB.
The car seems to be holding together--as it should.
Since the orgional post I have put on a M50 mani and a 3.38 lsd--its fun.
I am planning on a dyno in a few weeks.

it is this check valve that is between the purge valve and the manifold, it is there to keep boost from going back to the purge valve, well as you can see, it is bent and the chek valve is stuck open and it is leaking where the two grey caps are screwed on the ends.

I found the vacuum leak:buttrock
it is this check valve that is between the purge valve and the manifold, it is there to keep boost from going back to the purge valve, well as you can see, it is bent and the chek valve is stuck open and it is leaking where the two grey caps are screwed on the ends.

Glad you found it, but that is a strange place to leak.

well, I agree, you can see howthe valve body is bent and I beleive that is what caused it too leak.
I am putting in a metal one that I got a West Marine--Its a fuel system anti-syphon valve, should work good.

Hello, I have spent lots of time on Bimmerfest but I am New over here on Bimmerforums and I just wanted to say you have the best E36 I think I have ever seen. Props to you and I am extremly jealous, and keep up the good work
P.S. I saw that you live on Merritt Island. I am a student at F.I.T. down in Melbourne. Do you know of any BMW clubs or meets in our area?

Nice looking ride. Love the Alpine.
Side note: Me and a couple friends of mine are coming down to Sarasota this weekend for the off shore boat races. We are towing my friends 35' Fountain all the way from Cincinnati. Wish I could see your car in person.

What do you guys think??
I think that you sir, have an incredible 3-series:buttrock. Looking through your front bumper and kidney grills is on par to those random moments when you catch a glimpse of an attractive woman's undergarments. Lol, absolute filth! I wonder to myself what 301HP would do to me, because right now 152HP puts a boyish grin on my face still!
