Wierd buzzing sound

Sorry if this has been addressed before. My wife has a 2 week old 328 wagon. She open the car today and got in and something began to make a loud buzzing sound. The key was not in the dash. She said it sounded like a giant bug buzzing sound. It stoped after a few minutes. The car had not been driven today before it happen and was cold. I can assure she is crazy but she swears this happend. Anyone have any ideas. GH

Normal sounds I believe, the car just went out of dormant mode. It makes all kinds of noises.

Cars have all sorts of strange electronic noises. My VW does something similar, very random. But a series of clicks and buzzes while driving. Feels like we're doing a hydraulic test before take off...
