found a good set of front brake ducts on a 750iL...

I was at the salvage yard today and found a 750iL that has a good set of front brake cooling ducts as found on the 540i would these be possible to switch to my 520? The bumpers look the same to me but I want to check with you guys before I go and buy them. I wanted to get the brakes and upgrade my brakes as well but someone had already beat me to it :(

yes it will fit but you will have to do some cutting of your bumper.

NO. They are not exact ducts found on e34s. E32 ducts are slightly different, they don't bolt on as easily but it could work.

The far inside point of the ducts (e32) will not line up with the inside of the tow covers like the 540's will. They're a little shorter.

Maybe I'll just hold out for a set of e34 ducts and get them instead. They look better.
