is there a way to get the rear bumper off without taking these out? Otherwise what type of wrench should i use, seeing as a regular socket wrench doesnt make it budge at all..

Yeah these torx bolts are a pain to remove, I had to use my bro's monster wrench,

THe really annoying part of taking the rear bumper off though is removing those little plastic studs that secure the bumper to the inside of the rear wheel arches. I always worried about breaking them since they were 12 yrs old, and once off it was imposible to get them back on so I replaced them with cable ties. It'll make it easier next time as well...

finally got the bumper off, and you dont need to take off the hex bolts, you can take off all the plastic rivits and pull it off... however to get the reinforcement off you need to take off the hex bolts!
