I took my bimmer there for an oil change, sunshade fix, new belts installed (worn out, damaged, ect) clutch stop fix, electrical clean up and proper programing of angel eyes (wiring was a tad messy and LCM had to be recoated, and they coded my low beams so that I wouldn't get a LBF for P46 projectors).
I received my estimate only hours after emailing what needed to be fixed using their website (www.bavarianperformancegroup.com), in a very detailed manner. The prices on parts were very fair and equal or better to those of the dealership, and labor was $95/hr compared to the $120-150/hr range I've seen and had experience with previously. Because they were so busy that week (and they were, I drive by there almost everyday and the lot and two bays are always full, I had an appointment set up a week later.
After arriving I was greeted right away, by someone in which I can't recall the name of (sorry! bad with names). He took me into the office and had me make sure the estimate was accurate, took my keys, and told me that normally the car would be ready by the end of the day, but because I had procrastinated on a certain part the day before, he would need to wait for it to arrive the following day. Understanding this was my issue, I left bimmer-less.
The next day I received a call within almost 24 hours of dropping my car off that it was all set. I had my father drive me over, and was greeted instantaneously by the name without any sort of looking at my papers or anything. This, to me, is a great example of customer service.
I looked over the actual cost of repairs/maintenance and was shocked to see it was spot on to the original estimate. Where they had decided that they had overestimated and found more cost effective ways to fix issues, they did and so I ended up paying less in those areas. Unfortunetly the electrical mess and labor hours balanced it out. Nevertheless, their honesty on both fronts was extremely refreshing, nevermind the customer service.
Oh, and I saw a "CSL" 335i on the lift in one of the bays :drool, along with several M cars including a vintage M6 and E46 M3. Great place to see local enthusiasts cars. There's even a couch and flat screen tv with BMW stuff to look at while you wait for a quick repair.
I would highly reccommend Bavarian Performance Group in Winchester, MA for any sort of BMW related repairs or maintenance.
