From what I understand it is an inferior product relative to current offerings: Dinan, Procede, Juicebox, SSTT etc. - All of which seem to have more vendor and user support.
It is rumored to be Xede technology that was originally developed by Vishnu and later replaced by Vishnu with their next generation Procede.
I don't think many in the community are running the RD Sport because it was discredited by some in the community as well as Vishnu last year.
The other aforementioned products generally do provide the gains they claim ranging from 30hp or so to as much as 70-80hp and vary in cost from around $500 to $1500++. The RD Sport product with its black box and harness is probably most comparable to the v3 Procede by Vishnu Tuning also offered at around $1,500 with the plug and play harness.
My 2 cents
Has anyone tried the new PES Module?

The rd sport Blackbox is a Chip Torque xede based piggy. It's not inferior, it's just not that popular. The xede was not developed by Vishnu, they were however the first to use one and market it for the 335. They have since then moved on to a Haltech unit that allows them more flexabilty. The Pes module is another tune that's not that popular and customer dynos are few and far between. I'd go with what's been proven. Vishnu, BMS, or dinan. These are your 3 best bets, in no specific order. Tons of happy customers and more dynos to show what customes are really putting down.

Don't forget SSTT. The easiest to install/uninstall yourself with decent power gains and many a happy customer.
