Why did the other thread on this (where I made my purchase) get closed? And I still have no confirmation that my order has been shipped or any tracking info. I have asked a few times for this info. This is my first purchase with you guys. I hope to have more but when I'm doing cross border orders it sets my mind at ease when I have tracking and shipment confirmations.

The moldings did not get sent out because we were waiting on more fuse clips which we ordered from the local BMW dealer. Sending your moldings with out the clips would have done you no good :stickoutt

Nope. We just found out that we shipped them out and the manufacturer left clips out of some of them. So, we are sending everyone that has already shipped some clips just to make sure so you don't have to be the ones to find out if they are in there or not. Just being proactive.

Hi,

Since you were in Canada and you will get the Fedex in 3 days and the post office would take a week or more to get you the clips, this seemed like the best overall solution.

If we had just sent the moldings, you would still be waiting for clips for several days since the clips arrived today.

I'm sorry I promised you the other scenario but the shipping people rightly told me that this wasn't a good solution.

We don't get extra. We'd buy them from the dealer. Sure we get a discount but it not a huge amount better than yours and shipping would eat it all up or more.

I don't think its a great difference but it is lighter. Its not smooth like some competitors offers either.

If you buy them and are unhappy, we take them back if they are all packed back up uninstalled.

I'm sure they would look fine... I just bought an M3 front bumper from you guys and I will have brand new moldings on the front and the sides if I get these, I'll just have to get new ones in the back to match with the rest. Are these the same as the ones that come on the M bumper?

Yes, these are very close to what is on the front bumper. I think they match up well.

But since you are going to buy these and a bumper, did you join the wholesale club and get 15% off everything?

That puts the bumper at $97.75 shipped. It also drops the cost of the side moldings to $85.00. The rear bumper comes down from 175 to 148.75

There is nothing better you can do than joining the Wholesale Club.

I'll look into it. We shipped 22 cubic meters of cargo today. Today's Fedex bill, just for Fedex was over $10,000. We filled a Fedex cargo trailer. If I asked those guys to open all those trim pieces and look at the clips and put it all back pretty, I'd get attacked by half a dozen crazed people with box cutters. We have another container getting dropped off tomorrow. And the first shipment of coilovers has left the factories. Its going to get interesting real soon now.

For other news, I was talking to the guy who holds our lease about warehouse space. We will be doubling our warehouse space in August. So look for some nice remodeling inventory clearance sales late in the summer. We are going to want some free space to reorganize and put up the pallet racking in the new space, etc.

We're going to be hiring again soon too. If you are sales and service oriented, brush up your resume and interview skills.
