335xi IPod Gremlins

Anyone experience this with their IPod connected via the USB/accessory jack (IPod package). I normally use my IPod via the "Artists" mode. However, every once in a while for no apparent reason the IPod changes to "Playlist" mode after the car has been turned off then back on again. I can't figure out for the life of me why it occaisionally switches to "Playlist".

Thoughts?

My 335xi is fairly new, only about 600 miles. It already returned to the dealer for iPOd issue: iDrive kicked it out at will. Whatever the dealer did, it is normal now. I suspect an updated firmware for the iDrive. My problem seems more severe than yours and the dealer fixed it nicely, well, for now. Bring it back!

Mine disconnects every once in a while and switches to radio. Bee happening more often lately, but still not annoying enough to take it in. I believe a firmware update does fix that, earlier they were replacing a module.
