Ah, we love the "competition".
Everyone remember our $100.00 E36 M3 Bumpers with Integrated lips that shipped for $115.00?
Well, they're back in stock, have been for a while now. Have a look in the Benjamin Box. Our integrated lip bumpers are in-stock for $100 plus $15 shipping.
E36 M3 Bumper with Integrated Lip (http://www.ddmtuning.com/e36m3buinlip.html)
Or, if you want an exact replica with detachable lip so you can add the lip of your choice, we offer it for $124.95 plus shipping. Because the replica bumper is packaged differently, it generally is $200.00 shipped.
E36 M3 Replica Bumper with Removeable Lip (http://www.ddmtuning.com/e36bumpers.html)
Crystal or OEM fogs are our everyday low price of $30.00 per set for Apexcone Brand. DEPO Crystal Fogs are $30 more.
Don't be fooled by half hearted sales and sites that don't have the buying power to offer you the best deals. Never buy until you've price checked us. We have inventory and we always have the best pricing.

Hey Jim quick question
I can't seem to figure out how to hold the grill on the front of the bumper, for right now its super glued but that can easily come off. lmk what I should do?
Should there be clips?
jsp98m3
06-17-2008, 01:42 AM
There should be clips. Run by the dealer and pick them up and call us with the bill. I'll paypal you the moola. Or we can get them and mail them to you. Your choice.

Might have to mail them because it might just be less than driving 30 miles to the dealer. If you want you can throw a free SSK in :D I'll pay for shipping then.
jsp98m3
06-17-2008, 01:58 AM
The idea was that I wouldn't be out money for the box and packing for the shifters :)
We'll see. I seriously have no idea how many we have left. When they are gone, they are gone. If people report they are crap, ok. If they say they are good on this car or that one, good for them and the rest of them can be given to good homes.
Reports would have to be very good to have me looking to get more of them. We aren't in the shortshifter business. But I'll take anything as long as its free.

Jim,
I ordered the front bumper back in March, I haven't got a chance to install the bumper or analyze it until I read the post earlier and notice that I am also in need of the clip.
FRONT BUMPER:
Unique Transaction ID #58M374175L570882W <--- Paypal
Also, I recently order a Rear Bumper/HID kit from you last friday, I ordered by phone, and I just have an invoice number. Am i quailify for a short shifter?
Invoice: 061208-5
Could you please send me the CLIPS and possibility the Short Shifter? If not, can you just send me the Clips to hold the grill?
Thanks

Well I didnt have any luck haha, it sucks because I wanted to talk to you about a couple of other issues Ive been having with my headlights without getting caught up in this forum nonsense...but here we go.
First off, I wanted to mention that you guys have been helpful in some cases so Im not bashing the customer service, but I feel that Ive gotten a bad batch or something. Ive been having a ton of little problems since day one that Ive been shrugging off because they seemed miniscule to me. Ive had a few problems with my passenger headlight as well that I didnt really worry about because, well I didnt expect perfection for the deal I was getting. To start things off with the passenger headlight, I was having a b*tch of a time trying to get the harness to work... I called you guys up, they gave me advice. I tried it and didnt work, so they offered to send me a new harness and I said no problem, I took care of it, they said ok. When I said I took care of it I neglected to mention that I just straight up cut the harness and hardwired the wires myself into the headlight cap- turns out whoever assembled the light mixed the wires up inside because the wire sequence was off as far as the order they should be in for the PnP harness, on top of that, for some estranged reason, the distributor that I had to wire the wires into is loose now as if it is broken or something- Im a strong guy but I didnt know I can unknowingly break things haha- still not sure if its broke but whatever, the light works and everythings alright on that side I guess. Now the almighty pain in the a$$ drivers side. Well, as you know I havent been able to be getting this mother shut, and I still cant. The Pnp harness worked no problem for it :) haha BUT, for some reason the caps the protect the wires for both the projector and the high beam keep popping off... ugh I say to myself as I keep popping the bastard back into place only to find them popped out again next time I open my hoop. In addition, with all the removing and installing of the headlight from my car Ive been doing as I continually tried to get the headlight together after talking to you guys on the phone I finally ended up busting a corner light slider clip. Once again, Ive called you guys a couple of times trying to resolve this, theyve been helpful by giving me suggestions and asking some of the assemblers for advice which left me unsuccessful each time. Finally here we are and after getting off the phone with you guys I am going to be sending back this drivers light to see if you guys can get it to stay together. Im not asking for much because as I said I consider myself to be getting a killer deal and I dont expect these to be flawless, but please, send me a different drivers headlight, the one I have now and I arent becoming good friends these days. I can deal with the passenger light, we see more eye to eye. Im not sure but Im wondering if it could have been possible that maybe I got apexcone glass and a depo housing or something and thats why all this mess has occured?? Once again, Im sorry I had to bring this to the forum, for I wish I could PM you or something but you dont do those. O yea and one of my HID ballasts already went KAPOOF! haha but I spoke to you guys and were getting that taken care of...

Hello,
I ordered an item on your website on June 9th and have yet to receive an order confirmation or a tracking number. I have e-mailed DDM and have received one response stating i will get the tracking number when it is ready. How long does it take to pack an order? I have found another set somewhere else that I would like to order that can be shipped out right away, so I need to know if I should cancel my order if you can not ship it out soon. yhst-15912447027353-2603 is my order number.

I was browsing in the lighting forum and noticed that we may have been confused on the passenger headlight issue with the projector casing... I think tomorrow I will have time to work some goodness on Canada. Today was 'interesting'. Multiple containers showing up. Random frieght trucks for LCL cargo showing up all day. The contractors in putting in the new phone system without ever disrupting us. Although, I think the guy lingered under Sarah's desk a bit too often...
Then the website and marketing people were in too. My dog had dental work and a few other things. Yikes.
Give me a little while on the Boston thing. I think we can have some fun with this.

marineifra,
Mmmm. I think air conditioning is a priority. :)
We are trying our best to help the community. We are glad you recognize our efforts.
JuM3,
Its just a matter of volume. The bumper manufacturers have mold costs and they lower the prices fairly radically on some items that have had a long sales history at good volumes. For whatever reason, probably lower volume or a short sales history, some things just aren't sold at a relatively economical price.
We just have to take the deals we can get and press for even more as we can.

We're going to have some fun with the bumper sale shortly. We'll let the other bumper group buy that's active complete and then we'll make an announcement. There's lots of news for 4th of July coming up.

Ummmm.
I'm seeing some confusion here guys...
You all remembered to join The DDM Wholesale Club (http://www.ddmtuning.com/ddmwhcl.html) didn't you???
I've been watching another thread with a little amusement. The pricing has been dropping like crazy and they still haven't gotten to our Wholesale Club price of $97.75 including shipping.
BimmerZealot "got it". He called late at the end of the day after he figured out who we were and came by and bought bumpers locally for $85.00 each with his FREE club membership.
I thought you guys were paying attention to this whole Club Membership thing. No?
$115 = $97.75 for Club Members. Etc, etc.

I purchased a set of the 55w HID's you had on special last week, and forgot to join the wholesale club. Would it be possible to be added to the club for that purchase?

You guys gotta keep up on this stuff.

That was a group buy sale, not regular pricing. So it isn't eligible for Wholesale Club Pricing. But normal inventory, is always eligible.
If we have a limited number or are running it as a in-house group buy, we can't offer discounts on that.
Now, that can have an unfortunate consequence and I want to warn everyone about it because we are very straight up people. We sometimes run a special group buy, no discounts to test market something. We won't offer the discounts because we want to see the reaction to THAT price. If reaction is good, that gives us confidence to buy something in large quantity and make it a stocking item. At that point, its entirely possible the original group buy sales price will be our new regular price and then discounts would apply.
Confused? Call us.

<whisper> Bumpers cost NOTHING to make... </whisper>
See all the other threads for our current (its going lower) pricing.
This is for everyone: There's no prize for this, but can anyone determine why the DDM Wholesale Club membership is free after your membership fees are credited back to you? Why wouldn't I charge you and keep the money?
And the answer is: Other vendors are fighting, and complaining and knashing their teeth and trying to figure out how to crack the "nut" known as DDM Tuning. How can they price lower? What deals can they offer?
The simple fact is, there really isn't any way. Anytime I find that we aren't the lowest retail vendor on an item I will immediately lower retail pricing to be the same as wholesale pricing and then half the time, DDM Wholesale Club members get 15% off of that. And that is only Step 1. Remember, I am slowly but surely lowering the price in steps on every single item we sell to be the exact same as what I pay for it. I don't even tack on overhead. We aren't at cost on ANY items yet. Not a single one.
Today, there was another thread open with items at what would have once been thought of as a pretty good price. They weren't even close to the prices we were selling for 2 months ago.
So I put the item back up in the Benjamin box so it can sell to the general public at a good solid discount. DDM Wholesale Club members get an even better price than the reactionary panic price that the other guys switched too after their sale went no where.
We aren't even beginning to get to the final price on bumpers. Marcus actually said he felt a little sorry for the other vendor. But he got over it. Panic pricing isn't as low as our daily pricing to our friends and prices will slowly be going dramatically lower all summer long, maybe all year long.
So, I'm not going to keep your membership money because.... Membership will eventually go away and be replaced by DDM, Direct Delivery Marketing pricing at our actual cost.
I can run the business, pay all the salaries and make a nice enough living on just the rebates and incentives we receive. At that point, there won't need to be a club, everyone buys at actual cost.
This won't take that much longer. The more we get insulted, the faster I get on with it.

so is the m bumper with a integrated lip already a ddm wholesale pricing? Or is it cheaper that $100
Cause if its $100, can i paypal you an extra $5 and get one with detachable lip?
jsp98m3

The shipping on those two bumpers is entirely different. One is a modified horseshoe shape. The other is a solid rectangular shape.
The difference isn't $5 overall.

badluckm3,
All we need is the last 7 on your Vin. Its free. It applies to your first order. If you buy the Wholesale Club membership online, its $50 and you get a $50 gift card. But you still have to call in to get your savings on each order. We're working on a new website to adjust for this. Its just going to take a while longer. Until then, just call in.
espguitarist,
The rule is no discount on sales and the way I put this thread, it reads like a sale. Just tell Casey to read my posts. I won't be into the office in the morning, I rarely am since I am up late on import issues each night. So just point this out to him and he'll deal with it and update the other sales people.

Jim,
Can you please clarify the shipping to Canada for the M3 bumper with detachable lip. I have been told I need to sign a waiver or get a fedex account. I have tried 3 time to get a fedex account and it says my CC info is incorrect. Have you sent many items with the waiver to Canada and what are the chances of it being sent back?
This is an email I received from techddm:
For most people, in Canada that buy bumpers they supply us with a shipping account that we can use and charge all the expenses too. That is the easiest and most direct way. Option 2: We can ship a bumper via Fedex ground with an agreement from you saying if you deny paying Brokerage, taxes and duties and bumper gets shipped back to us then we will charge you for the expenses. This will cost: $135.
Regards,
John

I really don't understand why ppl in canada just don't have their bumpers shipped to a paint shop right across the border and then just have it painted there, install it and drive back over. as for the other bumper, might as well discard or i am sure the shop would arrange for you to sell it or something.
Here are a slew of them. Try the regional forum as well. They might have the hook up on a paint guy

You thought your bumper was $115.00 but it was only $100 when you bought it because you will do local pickup. With the DDM Wholesale Club, your bumper will be $85.00. So will side moldings, so will the mirrors. See, for NOTHING, you get to save $45.00 off our prices which are easily the best in the market.
