I just got myself a brand new 328i coupe and wondering what the difference is between the i and the xi models other then the all wheel drive system....performance? handling? mpg? styling?

Go to BMWUSA.com. Click to 328i coupe, click the compare cars link, and compare it to the 328xi. It'll go down two columns and is easy to follow. There are a couple options that are different (ie., sport suspension on the 328i, but not on the 328xi), but the biggie is the all wheel drive.

Yeah it affects what performance options you can and cant get. Xi models cannot get the Active Steering option.
