From tomorrow to the 11th, Spots worthy to check out, fun roads worth driving on? I'll be obviously heading through NH, so any suggestions would be awesome.

Where is your final destination? How much time do you have?

You'll want to drive the full length of Rte. 1A in NH. It's about 12 miles of road on the immediate coast, and it'll take you straight to Portsmouth where you can get back to I-95.

Awesome I will def check out Rt 1A. but it sucks that I am heading out in an hour and it's pretty shitty out. I'll be staying in Bar Harbor and outside of Portland, I hear moose head lake is nice.

Moosehead is nice but no where close to Portland or Bar Harbor. Rte 1 north of Portland is very nice as is the drive going into Bar Harbor is great as well.

Well, there is a ton worth seeing! I would check out Boothbay Harbor on your way up to Bar Harbor. Make sure you spend some time at Acadia National Park.

Check out some of the roads in Cape Elizabeth and SCarborough. You can also venutre to 110 in Maine and other roads off of US 1 south.

In Portland you have a variety of options as you are only 45 min from Portsmouth, NH and the like.

Hit up Freeport for LL Bean World HQ and other "nicer" outlets - take the back roads to get there.

Hit up Walters Cafe for dinner in the old port.

the commedy connection there is pretty funny actually.

There are a bunch of pubs in the old port with good brews and good food.

Take the drive on the back roads down to OOB (old orchard beach) and continue to kennebunk and wells - some nice little town centers to stop in at...

Rangeley Lakes Scenic Byway
Mooselookmeguntic Lake, ME

You should check out this place also..Allot of the roads are very windy and go up on the mountains with beautiful scenery! It's worth the trip..everytime I drive home to Strong, ME I take the 45 min trip up there to look around..here's some pics from my last trip two years back. It was over cast that day so just imagine how beautiful it'll be on a sunny day..and theres plenty of things to do up there if you're the outdoorsy type!http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll279/Jeepin4life05/DSC01440-1.jpg

The drive up Route 1 is great, be sure to check out Red's Eats in Wiscasset and get a Lobster roll.

I work on Lake Sebago. Was great this past weekend. A good place to stop and eat near the lake is 'The Good Life' High standard for the region.
