Ok ive had my car for about 2k miles (122k) and it always starts like a champ. Probably the fastest starting car ive ever had. Today i go to turn the key and just muscle memory let it go before it starts because it never takes that long. I was like wtf then tried it again and it took a few cranks to start. I drove it for only for a few minutes then a few hours later it started fine. The next start the car would not turn over for several cranks. It got to the point where i almost gave up but it turned right before i did. Drove it for a few minutes, turned it off then right back on it and started no problem. The reason i keep sayign a few minutes is because it does not take long to get around base, incase you were wondering.
I am thinking its not the alternator or the battery because if it was the alternator or battery my car wouldnt have such random starts, it would just get worst and worst until it was dead. If it matters it is very hot today and both my clutch and gas pedal feel "softer" but i just figured it was because they were both very warm. I want to keep starting it and hopeing it goes away to make myself feel better but that will just end up killing it quicker. I need my car tomorrow and i am afraid she is going to be dead after the last start.
