service gauge

ok so i know this inspection bar gauge if for intervals between oil changes and inspection but what does it mean when i looked like this... i dont really know what all the bars mean and nothing really explains it right

means you have two more green bars left, then yellow, then red. After the greens go, you'll wanna change your oil. after your oil change you get fresh green bars :D

Yeah, I wouldn't use those lights (and I don't) to determine when to change the oil. Unless, of course, they were yellow or red! My car has 4k miles on it since the last oil change, and all the green lights are still on. I'm going to change at 5k miles, regardless, and reset the oil lights with my Peake.

I heard one guy say that his lights didn't indicate he needed an oil change until over 10k miles had been put on. Thats a bit excessive.
