a couple weekend my car was keyed, i had been planing on possibly painting my car next year or later this year... so this just pushed it up a bit.
The paint is in decent shape, but the hood had a lot of chips, and same with the grill. Also there was some minor cracking in the paint. absolutly no rust though.
I was able to get my car in monday, with a body shop i know. I got a good deal but i have to do some of the leg work. IE, removal of trim and bumpers... etc
So here are a few pics of the Uninstall..
My buddy Corey who suckered into helping me today... haha.

I've never really taken my car apart before, so this was a nice learning experience. We started in the front, threw it up on stands, and started with the frount wheel splash gaurds, bumbers, grill. it all went pretty smoothly. didnt break any clips or anything. I did notice a few missing hardware bolts though, so i'll have to pick up some.

All done in the front.

Bumper off... I can't decide if i want to replace the slit grills, with a black mesh. I have a mesh at home... I just havent decided it i want to throw it in. I also picked up some Front splitters that i'll add to the front lip spoiler when it comes back.

The side trim snapped right off no problem, and the rear bumper was pretty hassle free, minus removing the black platic peice along the bottom of the bumper... It just didnt want to come off. When we finished with that i removed the rear windows, and trim and mirrors from the doors. i was planning on taking off the trim that runs along the top of the doors, but i'm afraid to break it. Anyone have experience doing that? (mark, nick.. i'm looking in your directing here..)
Done for the day....

ON a side note, I picked up some M3 Twisty side skirts this week... So i will be painting them, and ditching the Lux package ones.. If anyone wants a pair, let me know.
