just got a call from a dealer friend...

2006 M6

23k miles

needs: oil pan, a/c condensor and front bumber cover....

$40k

would it have a factory warranty if its deemed theft recovery? i'd hate to jump on this "opportunity" then get stuck with a bunch of problems...

You buy that car! You buy that car right now!

For $40,000 you can afford to have a few problems, if there are any at all. Have the dealer check the car out under the BMW Premium Selection criteria, if all is well, BUY IT :redspot

No warranty. They don't want to be stuck with the problems either..

If the title isn't too screwed, I would consider it. The car may be a good third-party extended warranty candidate. What quality of title does the car have? Do you have the VIN?

PM me with the details. I may want to take a look.

Try to get it leased, and the heck with what happened to the car if BMW will give you the warranty!
