2016 New York International Auto Show

Kicking off the 100 year anniversary of the BMW Group, the BMW M760i xDrive and BMW ALPINA B7 xDrive will make their North American debuts at the 2016 New York International Auto Show on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. The BMW lineup will also feature the BMW M2, BMW X4 M40i, BMW 7 Series, BMW X1, BMW 330e, BMW i8 and others.

2017 BMW M760i xDrive

The 2017 BMW M760i xDrive integrates the first 12-cylinder gasoline engine with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology, resulting in a blend of performance, efficiency and comfort. Equipped with 600 HP and peak torque of 590 lb-ft, this luxury sedan accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 mph. The 2017 BMW M760i xDrive is available with the same advanced driving assistance technologies for acute stability and handling as the renowned BMW 7 Series model range. The BMW M760i xDrive will arrive in U.S. showrooms in early 2017 looking to take on the performance competition such as the Mercedes Benz S Class.

2017 BMW ALPINA B7 xDrive

The 2017 BMW ALPINA B7 xDrive blends ultimate luxury and precision dynamics with the most advanced suspension and chassis technology with ALPINA calibration for those who want more refinement than the M Division offers. The new 4.4 liter 8-cylinder engine delivers an impressive output of 600 HP and a maximum torque of 590 lb-ft, resulting in remarkable acceleration – from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds, 0.8 seconds faster than its predecessor. Built for cruising at maximum comfort, the BMW ALPINA B7’s high-performance drive-train is complemented by its aerodynamic elements and sporty yet elegant interior design. The BMW ALPINA B7 arrives in U.S. showrooms in September 2016.

The 2016 BMW M2

The 2016 BMW M2 designed after the lines of the 1 Series M Coupe which only sold 740 units in the US takes on all kinds. A newly developed M TwinPower Turbo technology 3-liter, 6-cylinder engine produces 365 HP and 369 lb-ft of torque in over-boost, catapulting the high performance vehicle from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds. The BMW M2 sets the pace in its segment when it comes to agility, driving feeling, directional stability, steering precision and controllability. The 2016 BMW M2 will be available in U.S. showrooms in April 2016.

The BMW X4 M40i

The BMW X4 M40i, the claimed Porsche Macan beater, guarantees the free-revving thrill! With 355 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque, the newly developed M Performance inline 6-cylinder engine made its world debut in this Sports Activity Coupe. Reaching an electronically limited top speed of 150 mph, the BMW X4 M40i delivers best-in-class acceleration, reaching 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds.

 

 

2016 BMW M2 Reviews Start to Appear

The M2 has been talked about for a long time.  The official release happened just the other day. Journalists were able to get their hands on it a few weeks ago and now those reviews are starting to pop up on the internet.

There will likely be dozens of reviews in the next few days… we are interested to hear your responses.  I am interested in seeing how the M2 compares to its bigger M4 brother and maybe its giant counterpart the M6.

2016 BMW of North America Announces Best Dealership Awards
