Moon Very Very Funny Rice Story

this is kindi a kill, but more of just a ricer insult story, so basicly im coming back from my break at work after getting some subway, and im on shady grove road about to cross over 270 going towards gaithersburg, and its a 3 lane road that opens up to 4 with the on ramp, im in the left most lane, ad a riced out 97-99ish looking civic pulls up in the middle lane, its got all the fake lights on it, the huge 3 foot spoiler and the pep boys muffler, the stickers down the side of stuff clearly not on the car, and he starts reving his engine at me, now normally i don't waste gas on this kind of crap, but the guy was getting annoying and shouting stuff, so i give 2 rev's of my engine (he could clearly tell from the sound it had a mean supercharger) i roll up my window and say to myself ill give him a 3sec head start, so light turns green, i wait and he's still next to me, HE STALLED OUT , at this point being the devoted hater of ricers and quite the cynicial sob i notice there are no other cars in sighte, so i simply proceeded to drive forward alittle and then drive a circle around his car before going on my way, as he got it started and i looked back (going 25) he looked PISSED, well i don't think you can call it a kill story, but it made my day to put a ricer in his place

Hehe, I'd say thats a kill - although you realize hes on the Honda board right now posting about how some stooopid BMW driver stalled and he drove circles around him, right? It probably goes something like this...

"Yo! I was out in my pimpin ride, see? Up comes this POS "beamer" and he wants to race. I can hear he's got a MEAN supercharger (it could have been a quad turbo, I wasnt sure!), but he doesnt got VTECH YO! We went from the light and I had 12 car lengths by 15 MPH!! We took it up to 225MPH and I destroyed him! At the next light, his girl was so impressed with the size of my wing that she got out of his car and into mine! I laughed at the kid and went home to do his girl! Awww yeah! You cant handle the VTECH!!! Yeeeah bizzzitch!"

Ricer's are funny.. maybe we should just give in and write VANOS all over our cars? Hell we'd probably gain 15 HP.

    EDIT: Yes, its late.

so true, so true, in fact i don't doubt it, be careful people please, those stickers add like 20hp each, and you gotto watch out for those 95 altima *type R* things, those can usually mow a lawn and have there spoilers trim the trees at the same time. i forget who but a member has a pic thats basicly goes like this- "so let me get this staight, your civic has 1.6 liters where as my bottle of dew has 2??" its so true, so true, although it wasn't even a fast spin around circle, more like i was getting around him to park

    I think it means "owned"

    "owned" in rice-speak means "raped"

    which means "embarressed or beaten"

So basically, it translates like this:

"Sheeeit! Me's just pwned joos dawg! L337!!"

    Means:

"Golly! I just beat you in a race, guy! Im elite!"

There is some confusion however over what "VTECH" means. In the Honda circles, it means "Fast and furious, F your V8 man!" In other car circles, however, it means "That dumb ricer is about to pay me $100 and he doesnt even know it."

I still like that one person's idea (can't remember who)...they wanted to put a bunch of little Honda/Toyota logos on the flanks of their car like kills on WWII planes...

I hate ricers like that. They give a bad name to Honda guys like me and my friends who actually put loads of money into making our cars fast and looking good. Oh well, the only upside to being stereotyped as some slow import ricer is to blow the doors off some unsuspecting cocky V-8 driving fool who doesn't know about some fast imports

I will admit i have seen a few good looking civics (under 10 though) but they will never be able to take on a car that is designed to be fast, civics and what not were designed to be slow, get good gas mileage and be driven by little teenage girls, while lets say a murcielago was designed, built and tested to be the king of the road.

There are some quick four banger Jap cars out there - super/turbo charged and such - but my arguement has always been this:

Why spend $15,000 on an economy car...

and $10,000 to make it fast...

And sell it three years later for $10,000 and lose $15,000...

When you could just buy a nice used sports car for $20,000 and put $5,000 into it and make it a very capable sports car as opposed to a semi-capable economy car?

Who says people sell their cars after three years after spending $10,000 on mods? The people with imports that are real fast usually keep the car; well, at least the people I know and have heard of. And I somewhat agree with your statement about buying a sports car for $20,000 and putting $5,000 into it to make it very capable. But, some people might not want an M3. They might want a sleeper like an Integra or Civic that would hand the M3 it's ass. There is some guy on here who owns a 95 M3 and after he puts in the track pipe and cams, I think he would have spent close to $7000 or so. One of his neighbors has a turbo'd Integra Type R that runs 11's all day. That's Supra territory right there. That Integra with the turbo probably cost $15-20k less than an E46 M3, but could hand the M3 it's ass. Some people might just be concered about speed and might like the thrill of having a Civic or Teg that can beat almost anything on the street. And I don't want to hear about, OH, The M3 could hand that Teg it's ass on the track. With the $15-20k left over from not buying an E46 M3 or so, he could easily spend that money on suspension and beat the M3 on the track. The thing is, BMW's are EXPENSIVE to get a lot of power out of; imports are a lot of cheaper to modify, thus meaning younger people have more of an opportunity to make a fast car for cheap. But if you think of it, an E36 M3 (95 or 96) is not much more expensive than a 99 Civic SI or so. Even Integra Type R's cost more than 95 M3's nowadays, unless the M has low mileage.
