Where Can I Find a Clutch Replacement DIY Link

I am looking at replacing my clutch, pressure plate, flywheel. Is there a write up on how to do so?

    Here's one-
    1. drop exhaust.
    2. Take off X-brace, no make that one it'll be easier to get at the collector bolts.
    3. Remove driveshaft at rear diff. Note- there is a hanging bearing that will likely have to come off as well.
    4. Disconntect clutch cable.
    5. Remaove bell housing bolts. Note- you'll need air tools and plenty of extensions for this. Girl sized arms are also useful. By the way make sure you're tranny is supported at this point.
    6. Remove tranny and output shaft.
    7. Remove pressure plate and clutch disc.
    8. Remove flywheel.
    9. Do it all in reverse, and don't miss anything or you'll regret it later.

A Bently manual is a good idea here. It will detail the job nicely for you, or you coiuld do what I did with a Mustang this summer- just tear into it assuming you'll figure it out as time passes...

The job got done, just took a little longer than expected but hey- it was the fist time I ever looked at a Mustang. I just know the design was 30 years old and went "How tough could it be?"

If you are replacing the flywheel remember to replace the bolts too. They are a one stretch only application.
