i ordered a set for my roady around january - the shifter and e-brake. i have to say though, the beige is a little orange. i'm going to have to dye it if i can before i install them.

however - the leather and craftsmanship are amazing. i'm kicking myself for not taking more time to pick out a more creative color/stitching scheme or even sending a photo to the vendor and verifying the color i was picking.

also - unlike mpire above, my order arrived in about a week. i was surprised it came in that fast! mpire - have you emailed the vendor? i did a couple times and got very quick attention.

RedlineGoods - how do you suggest i dye these to match my oem color? they're pretty nice and i don't want to mess them up. they seem a little orange next to my colsole - i think i need to darken them quite a bit before the'll really belnd in with the console. thanks for any insight!

but let's just pretend for a minute that i'm an idiot with a tan interior that ordered a beige set of boots - but i didn't really pay attention to whether or not their idea of beige would closely match my interior...

what would an idiot do? does anyone out there know of a safe and practical way to dye this material? i've love it to match, but am considering getting some schmancy patterened, freaky stitched boots now, since i screwed up and got the wrong color.

out of curiousity - has anyone out there gotten boots that match the tan interior from redline? what color *should* i have ordered?

Actually no. They send an email asking if it has arrived. I keep saying no, and I emailed half a dozen times. Its made in europe or something and they keep saying it will show up. I gave up long ago. I never got any tracking information.

I was told:

"To be quite honest, 99 of "missing" shipments show up back here weeks later with a big red "UNCLAIMED" stamp on the envelope. If you could take the time to call them or even visit them, this would lessen the risk of this happening with your shipment."

So anyways, that was back on January 11th. I went to post office and looked around. Still don't have a shift boot. Oh well.

Hi everyone,

find below some photos of our STRIPED BOOTS. These can be ordered for any car and unless you specify otherwise, the stripes will be put wherever there are stitches on your stock boot, ie. a stripe is inserted between two adjacent panels, which are also re-sized to make sure the overall dimension is correct!

Stripes can be combined with stitching which can be CONTRASTING (these two are black perforated leather with light gray stripes and contrasting thread):



Same as above but solid, not perforated, black:


Thread can be also MATCHING so it won't be visible




Thread can be color-matched to the stripes or to the main panels' leather color. Here color matched to stripes, obviously


Or it can be a completely different color than either the main panels OR the stripes - below is black leather with white stripes and red thread:

Just to clear this up, I must say that a ford ranger shift boot showed up this week. I will have to install it and see how it looks.

Hi,

PIPING is a cool, sporty and elegant way to finish off your shift boots. Piping can be done for any car, and it replaces the threads with a special, well, pipe made by wrapping a thin plastic tube with leather. It looks amazing:









When ordering please make sure to select the primary color as the first leather color and the color of the piping as the secondary leather color.

I have ordered from Redline before and been Very happy. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent.

The colors were reversed from what I expected, but it turned out to be my mistake. They STILL offered to send me a replacement at cost. Excellent service, great product.

The only comment I would make is that I ordered Sierra and Charcoal. It looks good, but if I had it to do over again I think Black and Taupe would be a closer match to the beige BMW interior.
