Are you sure the redline for the 1.9 is at 6700? My tach seems to indicate that it's around 6250... but then again, when I was practicing burnouts the needle was at least at 6500... you could be correct, I'm not sure

question on this -- do you know how many "1998-2000 Mroadsters were sold in relation to Z3's." Also, how many 2001 Mroadsters with the S54 engine were sold?

Were there any special color combinations as well (rarer than normal). What colors were they offered in exterior? What interior color combinations were offered as well?

Thanks--just curious to know.

Here in Europe you could have some special color combinations to Z3 via BMW Individual, but I'm not sure were they available in US.
Here's one option, I'm pretty sure there were "lots" of individual colors for Z3, I just can't find them...

Sorry I'm not familiar with Z3's colors, these are
individual, aren't they ?

Since we have Rukman's FAQ to rely on, I thought it would be nice to have a place where folks could post links to how-tos, write-ups, and other useful sources on info for our cars.

A few come to mind, such as...

www.mz3.net : a classic!
Ron Stygar's site
www.understeer.com : lots of info on mods, mainly E36 stuff, but that can apply to our cars, namely the fan delete mod.

I can only hope one of our esteemed moderators will «sticky» this, so that it can come in handy when the search feature fails to help.
