Some fu** sideswiped my passenger side door...no help from security, no cameras so I'm sol. Managed to rub the major scratches out but it definitely left a nice 6" dent for me to fricken look at every morning...ugh! Might check out these so called paintless dent removal guys on Craigslist. Any recommendations or inputs from our NorCal guys?

ouch! That's a crease. Don't think there's much that PDR can do with that

That sucks man... You could probably find a door pretty reasonable....especially without the door panel or window regulator(reuse yours)
If the paint didn't crack, you can EASILY have that PDR'd. But I'll warn you, it's not going to be cheap.
PDR is magic. Just look for reviews of local shops online.
Turn the car around when you park it, that way you can't see the passenger side.
+1 PDR, it may take several PDR guys to find one that can fix a dent that large.

I just had 3 dents removed from my driver's door last fall by a local PDR place. The worst was a 1/8" deep point dent forward of the mirror from the bottom corner of a pickup door per the PO. There was also crease in the middle of the door and very light indentation below the door handle. All were corrected with no visible sign left for $185. I was very happy with the result.
If you search YouTube you can find videos showing amazing results by various PDR guys. Highly recommend you check out local reviews and go get an estimate or two.

I agree as long as the paint is not damaged, a good PDR guy can make that disappear.
Check these out on my car

^ Who did yours? I need some done on mine. Feel free to email if you'd rather not post.
Were in NorCal are you? A PDR Tech out of Modesto took a dent out of the hood of our 99. The PO dropped something on it and it was a deep sharp dent and it has no sign of it ever being there.
Heck. Have the guy that did the PDR come out to the fix-it day.
Unfortunately the tech who did the work above has left the NoVa area.

Thanks! I've got a mobile pdr guy coming over at lunch tomorrow...will keep you guys posted. Also, one of the guys at work knows an owner of a bodyshop so might as well get an estimate. I'm in Santa Clara btw.

Someone tried to mess with my wife's Subi last night. She must have forgotten to lock it - a map light was on inside and the gas cap was out of the recepticle. Woke up to something at 4 AM...didn't see anyone running away, but I was sweeping the whole front yard with the integrated laser...don't think that will be happening again.
And because my wife forgot to go to the gas station on the way home last night, there wasn't any gas to steal!

It's worth considering what's behind the crease, inside the door. Here's a picture of my M Coupe passenger door, with glass and regulator removed.
There's a dynamat-like sound/vibration absorbing sheet in there that MIGHT interfere with your dent. (It would make it difficult or impossible for PDR to push the dent out properly, unless that material was removed.) Also, the door beam might be in the way of the various PDR tools. You and the PDR guy can decide based on comparing this pic and your door damage.

Quick update. PDR wants a bill but no guarantee...possible it might leave a line. Bodyshop wants 2 bills hammered out and buffed. I'll get a couple more estimates this weekend.

Go to you local BMW dealer and ask them who they use for PDR they all have a Dent Guy to recon the trade ins or shop damaged cars. That is how I found the one that fixed my car.
I too need a PDR session. Having one at fix it day would be awesome. The crease you have is nothing compared to mine. I took my Coupe out of the garage and parked it in visitor's parking so I could do some work on my motorcycle. Parked it in the farthest corner spot and threw the car cover on top of it. When it was time to move it back in, I took off the cover and found a crease spanning more than half of the driver side door. Like someone just rode their bumper on my door trying to park. It pains me every time I get in the car. At least the car cover saved the paint from getting scratched.
