    Glue

My rearview mirror fell off from the glass. It's complete and not broken. Just need to put it back on. What kind of glue can I use to put it back on?

Go to any auto parts store, they'll have an adhesive made for just that purpose. Something like this: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...hield+adhesive

Same thing happened to me. I glued it back on with a mirror adhesive kit from advance auto. two days later the windshield cracked and the mirror fell off again but this time it took a chunk of glass with it and left three cracks were it use to be. Maybe someone has had better luck. btw i haven't had a mirror in over 3 years and i enjoy the ability to see....(mirror is way to large)

This is what auto glass shops use...

If you don't want to spend $40 take it to glass shop probably charge you $5

The mirror was missing when I bought my 96, steve f was nice enough to sell me one he had very reasonably, I used the mirror "glue" from an auto parts store.
There were 2 different choices, I chose the more expensive one at $4.00, works fine(so far 2 weeks) let the "base" dry for a day before attaching the mirror.

If it is anything like the one I put back on, the "mirror and arm" can be removed from the "base" with a quarter turn...I think counterclockwise will remove it...then again the mirror I used to replace it may be different than yours...
Be careful, you can break the windshield....think...glass coverage on insurance ?
