    Tower brace

I want a front shock tower brace. What is a recommended brand without spending $400 for the Dinan?

Strong-Strut. A tremendous value to the Z3 community.

    Dinan

Watch for a Dinan on Ebay (search BMW Dinan) or do a Strong Strut.

+1 on the Strong Strut. You can probably get one used. To see what you want, go to their website.

BMP Design has a strut brace for a 98 or 99 Z3 2.8 for around $150 (fb discount). Though I'm not sure if it'll fit the MZ3...the traction control might be in the way.

I have a racing dynamics brace.

It's ok... Nothing real special but it does its job.

I have a Cosmos Racing one from eBay that I've had for 10 years now. The only thing is the chrome flaked a little bit around the screws. Does its job though. I think it cost $150.

Running rogue (mason) racebrace. Best one out there, but spendy.

cosmos from ebay. worked and almost most perfectly. Looks good and the price was perfect. I feel that it seems more rigid in the turns but could just be in my head

Don't waste your money. Doesn't fit S52s with ASC.

Rogue sells the Mason strut too.

That being said, installed my new-to-me Dinan strut yesterday!

I say get the one from RE. It looks much better than the mason if you ask me.

(Those of you who have a clue will notice its the Mason bar powdercoated black for the same price.)
White is Right, Steel Grey is OK, but Estoril is the only color that truly matters.

    I like Coupes.

Anything without a hinge. Strong Strut or Mason Engineering are the best out there, IMHO.

Again, these are worthless on S52s because they don't fit.

How are you so sure? The Mason site says the race bar "Fits all Z3 configurations with exception of 4 cyl model"

I just emailed John Mason about the fitment of this strut bar. Here is his responce....

    "I prototyped the Z3Race bar for S52 & S54 motor
    *
It should fit, having not seen your car *anything is possible.
Out of 100 bars sold, we had 2 that did not."

Buy it and prove me wrong. There's a reason why Rogue doesn't sell them to S52 owners. Want to guess what it is?
