    Aftermarket security system with keyless entry

    Looking for some help and advise. I recently discovered that my 2001 BMW Z3 has a Audiovox Pursuit Pro9644 security system installed in it but the fuses were pulled. I'm thinking of replacing it with something that has remotes.

    Here my question. Will the doors lock and unlock remotely?
    Also, what system do you recommend?

    Hi Henry. There are a number of aftermarket keyless/alarm systems that can be installed in your Z3. Bav auto sells a few that are plug n play.

    East coast shop out of NY. Looks like they do the EWS programming as well at a very affordable price. I need to get this service soon to get a key replenishment.

    I have an Avital with a proximity sensor so if the top is down & you stick your hand it it alarms..... I love it.

    Use to be 2000 Z3 Roadster 2.3/2.5 as of 03-30-13 simply scrap metal
