I really like his friend “anastasi”. she’s hot and she drives an e92 m3
Nice vids! I really like the angel eye setup on the OE headlights; way better than those crappy ebay/depo headlights some of the people on the board have.

These angel eyes rings are chinese aftermarket parts which you can buy on ebay and retrofit them. I personally don't think they belong to Z3. They are symbolizing typical decent BMW in my opinion and Z3 is not a typical Z3 even if it's classic design is quite decent.
No, they are not Umnitza angel eyes.

WOW!!!
Nice videos. Thanks for sharing.
Z3s do look pretty good with angel eyes done right - first time I actually have seen angel eyes done "right" on a Z3.
Look like umnitza thin angel eyes. They have gone through so many different types of angel eyes in the past that I am not even sure they can tell you which ones they are
I'd love to edit something like that sometime; but need someone to do the video work, bc ya can't drive and shoot at the same time![]()

I have been looking high and low for these rings since seeing this video last week. if anyone knows where I can pick up led rings that will fit, please let me know.
Cheers,
Paul
In the second link, where they show how they put the headlights together, they are using a basic CCFL kit for E46 and modifying how it fits inside the housing.
You can order those any time you want, but it requires a lot of work.
We have moved away from CCFL because of the difficulties of supporting a product that is so prone to never ending failures.
If you want something like that and are willing to do the same modifications, baking, installation, we don't have anything that inexpensive, then maybe you can considering getting our Orion V2 E46 kit and installing it. You can even do a retrofit at the same time.
The full circle rings are also CCFL, the way you can tell that they are not too bright at all is if you see the surrounding light output. The camera has no problem showing you the oven details. For our Orion V2, you can't do that at that level of light output.
here's how the CCFL looks compared to our Orion v2 in proper daytime operation:

The problem with those e46 kits is the circular ring doesn't really suit the off shape of the original Z3 light. You guys used to have a CCFL light in the proper shape on your site, but I completely understand not wanting to support them with the reliability concerns. It would be great if you could shape your Orions to the shape of the Z3 lenses. Would make all these retrofits complete.
