My 2000 M Coupe's rear view mirror is not so clear, and its getting worse. Can it fix? or I need to replace a new one. I think its some kind of liquid leak inside.![]()

Do you have the auto dimming mirror (electrochromic mirror)?
If so you can send it to the company and they'll fix it for a fee. I'll let someone else tell you the company you need to contact cause I forget it.
this is relevant to mah interests...
i have the same issue, bottom 3/4 is goldish and the top is clear, looks like liquid missing.

As I understand it, you need to pull the mirror now before the fluid leaks out and damages/stains your interior. Then send to the manufacturer for a rebuild.
Check out the article in the M Coupe buyers guide regarding the mirror under the "Updates/Modifications" category
Or do what I did. Cut a new mirror to fit in the place of the shitty badly designed one. $5.00

The liquid will drip out of the mirror onto your center console and eat the paint on the console.
The console is $200 for the bottom part, and $180 for the top part.
I suggest you yank the mirror ASAP!
White is Right, Steel Grey is OK, but Estoril is the only color that truly matters.
I like Coupes.
Sybesmas does a great and fast job replacing.
Thanks guys, for all the reply.
I see my interior has damage already. Maybe just a liquid drop....
I need to remove the mirror as soon as possible. Anyone has link that shows how to remove the mirror? I see it stick with windshield...... T.T

From the upgrades section of the M Coupe buyers guide website (I recommend you go there for the rest)
Aim the mirror down and away from you to give you greater access to the neck of the mirror.
Pop off the little plastic cover on the neck of the mirror by pushing the front side of it downward with your thumb.
Disconnect the plug connection
Twist the neck of the mirror 45° counter-clockwise (this is the part that made me nervous, but it worked very easily)
Once the mirror has been rotated it will slide right off into your hand.
