**8/29 Update:

Product page is LIVE! All kits are scheduled to be through QC and shipping out by the 7th. Since we have met the 16+ tier ($139.99/kit, minus the $40 deposit), the balance due for pre-orders is $99.99. You can go ahead and complete the balance at your convenience.

Please note that this link is for pre-order participants only. Regular retail kits will be available once all of the group buy kits have shipped.

We are doing a $40 pre-order deposit for the Z3 non-M Underpanel kit. This kit is fitted specifically to the 6-cyl non-M Z3. Similar in design to our current offering for the M Coupe and M Roadster, it is fully CAD designed from high quality aluminum stock and brace directly to the chassis for the ultimate in strength, underbody protection against road and track hazards. All Hardware required for installation is included along with installation instructions, and features to use the Underpanel as a secure interface to mount a flat-plane splitter extending from under the car.

Pre-Order Details:

The deposit amounts to $40 to secure a pre-order spot (reference our thread in the Z3 section of bimmerforums.com for full details). The balance cost + shipping will be due upon completion of the product. The pre-order window will be open through Sunday, July 15th. We must reach a total of 8 deposits to make it officially a go!

8 - 10 deposits = $154.99 kit
11 - 15 deposits = $144.99 kit
16+ deposits = $139.99 kit.

Normal retail pricing of the kit outside of the pre-order is $174.99.That said, we will not be accepting deposits on a price-contingent basis (ex: deposit # 11 contingent upon reaching the 16+ tier). Price does not include shipping.

I went to put this through and got this warning message:

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/motionmo/public_html/products/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

Anybody else getting this? I just want to make sure if I'm sending my CC info that it's secure. Can some on confirm?

I wanted in last year, but now I'm thinking that I'll be putting an M bumper on my non-M Z3. So, I need to get the M panel y'all made, right? If I need a new bumper and eliminated my fog lights, why not go with the fancier-looking front, right?!?

Yup, we saw that error over the weekend. Everything is all set.

So the product is worthwhile if you get it $5 cheaper. Why don't you post the deposit and dance the happy dance

when one more signs up.

Lol at this point I want to be able to say to myself "Damn I got a deal" even though perceived gains are negligible until autocross starts for me (College kid trying to get a crossing setup done by next year)

Well, you can do one better... As of this morning, 15 deposits are confirmed. If you get yours in, you can not only get the deal, but be the guy who tips it over into the 16+ bracket!
