    Washer pump issues

About a week ago I discovered that my windshield wiper fluids ceased, I checked the lines and realized it was the pump that had quit working.. after replacing it today, no fluids continue to come out. I ran it for a few min thinking that there was just air in the lines and still nothing. Any suggestions??

    thanks

This happened to me and I found my line was pinched when the hood was closed. I put the line back into it's track and voila, everything started to work again.

I found the wires feeding power to the washer fluid motor were chaffed under the tank and shorted to chassis ground...

Awesome, Glad I was able to help. Guess that's a common problem!

I took apart my whole system before finally realizing it was working when the hood was open and only failing when closed.

Transmission PTO or mid-ship transfer case?

Yes 12v powers the pump. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

I have a problem that is unusual. The holder for the fuse that energizes the windshield washer has dropped into the bottom of the fusebox. Is there a way to fix this by wiring around the fusebox?
