What Do You Know About This?

Have any of you been to the Zentrum and seen it in person? I'm interested in the tire and wheel sizes. Also if the fender extensions are steel or fiberglass. Does anyone have any other photos of it they can share? What is it called........M Coupe MS, etc.?

    Well, I'd call that Ugly!

Did you try Coupeaday.com to see if Jeremy ever came across it?

    Thanks for the link, Parker.

I'm not aware of any details on the Coupe, but have posted about it here before. There doesn't seem to be much known about it.

I don't think it's ugly. The lines flow pretty well with the original lines, albeit wider. Wide body race cars are pretty much the norm in German racing (and somewhat so in other European countries). I think it's kind of cool.

Seen it in person, but there aren't any placards or technical information around it. This is actually a good question. Is there even an engine in that thing or does it just look pretty?

Cool...yeah it is kinda cool, the front looks much meaner. But the lines the Coupe has are ruined after the front door. And the hatch

It's like getting butt implants and squeezing into jeans 4x smaller. The extra skin oozing out...

But seriously, you're the resident expert for most documentation of coupe's. If I would have done a quick search here I could have gotten your previous post too and eliminate you're quest to the most posts

I like it...would be awesome to see some forced induction in the engine bay, say, 400 whp or so.

Pffft, haha. Thanks for the kind words, but there are lots of others more knowledgeable about Coupes than me. JoshS, Wildag, Jrmartin03, Caliagents and others come to mind. I'm likely just the "loudest".

I don't care about my post count. I'd turn it off if it was an option.

Who do you have to know to get an up close look at that thing? I've wondered the same thing about this exact car. What's the point of the door handles?

That's the biggest mystery to me

To get into and out of the car?

In road racing the doors still work.

That may be true, but doesn't look like it on this example. It looks like the top third could open if it was a tiny door, but that middle and bottom section look to be one complete piece.

I could do about $50,000 in body damage driving it a block in Brooklyn!

I know im not offering much now, but I am going to the zentrum/factory next year on a technician recognition trip. Talking to the other tech that went a few years ago we have a better opportunity to ask questions and get answers. Ill be sure to get s much info as possible.

Ah, you're right. Then again, it may still open that much. The door bars would take up that much space. I'd love to know the answer.
