10 More Seat Incline Kits Ready To Ship NOW!
Price For This Round Is ONLY $22.00 Shipped! Send via PayPal to jonathan.michael.thayer (at) gmail (dot) com. Feel free to send it "Personal" if you'd like to give me a 94 cent bonus (that's how much PayPal charges to accept $22.00). Moderators, I'd appreciate if you let me continue offering this service to the community.
Considering gas prices are around $4.00 a gallon and you'd need to drive all over to try to find comparable parts (if you could even find them local, I couldn't), $22.00 is an EXCELLENT value. Please note that I might ask for a bit more to cover shipping charges if you want me to ship outside the United States. I'm only trying to cover my costs. I hope you understand.
EDIT: Shipping to Canada? Please add $3.00 USD.
EDIT: Shipping to South Africa? Please add $5.00 USD.

From the original thread:
Well, I finally did it. And it's well worth it! (Even just sitting in my car ...)
I also helped Mark Scire with his ///M Coupe yesterday so we could test in an operational car (mscire2). It makes the seat feel completely awesome. No longer are you spit into the dash / steering wheel when braking. Additionally, you are held back into the seat better, and the additional leg support is very nice.
I've always complained like an old man that my back hurt after driving for extended periods. Only happened when driving the coupe. I THINK this is the culprit and this should aid solving it!
One of my gripes about how others have done this in the past is how a bolt was used instead of a stud / nut combo for the front of the rail. Not only is it a pain to assemble that way without a stud, it puts too much strain on the bolt head due to the slight angle of the rail.
To the drawing board!
I was able to properly source grade 10.9 and 13.9 hardware (gotta use the best quality).
Using hardened metric couplers, hardened studs and hardened washers, I developed an OEMish mounting system that accomplishes the seat incline, all with better than OEM grade hardware (woohoo!). I'm attaching my diagram and installation instruction to this post.
Overall, a rather helpful, low-cost, quick project with real benefits!
Pictures as requested!

Thanks again for offering this kit. This mod was such a game changer as far as driving enjoyment goes. I'm getting the kit to simply replace the current hardware I'm using as it seems "safer". Not to mention, it can do both seats for the cost of getting the stuff for just the remaining passenger seat at Fastenal.
Payment sent for 2 sets

My apologies in advance if my question was already asked and answered. Will this mod lower my butt/torso at all? At 6"3" I am a bit too tall for a comfortable fit. My biggest issue is that I am looking directly at the metal strip across the top of the windshield unless I scrunch down or do other contortions. I do find the seats are comfortable, it is visibility that is not perfect. Will this modification do anything to change that??
I am in for one set. Can't send payment for 4 more hours though. Darn work
Money sent, thanks.

See my PM about the previous shipment; and an additional part?
RIP SMW (5.23.04) - We miss you sweetheart!
I assume that it's obvious when installing where the washers and everything goes, or are there directions?

Sorry bud, you need to do seat bushings then to stop the rocking.

This is a great addition to it however.
I have the bushings, just never felt like taking my seats out to do them. Now I can kill 2 birds with one stone.
